FS Unlimited

As I was browsing my PC directories for my previous programs, I noticed of how I've transformed my way into becoming the programmer I am now.. Funny that after a while that I've not read my code, I could not really understand what I've been doing during the development of the program. It feels like that the one that created my codes was not me.

The list of programs I'd finish were pretty nifty and of course, sometimes I couldn't still see myself as the one who made those. I've started my career as student-programmer who would create programs for my alma-mater. One of the first program I've created was the AMA Computerized Election using Visual Basic 6.0. It had become a tradition then for 4 straight years, I've slowly developed the program from static data into a dynamic queries of candidates.

The next project was the Miss Teen Philippines program for the judges. I was pretty proud of that damn thing.. I embraced that program with a few knowledge on network programming of VB 6.0... When a friend-teacher saw our work, they could not believe that we were the one that developed that system...

Then of course, our thesis... My first try on PHP... The program is kind of lame... Never tried PHP before.... But it's okay, we just pulled it up with the 3D animations...

Then came my first real life project... The Land Tax Information System... A VB project for one of the Local Government... Large scale program use in for recordings of properties of land tax...

After that, thesis, thesis and thesis for different schools... a Decision Support System for inventory. A Computerized Election for a school, a grading system for one college department... working on thesis programs really give a good financial boost... But creating thesis is really a big pain in the arse. Panels would request outrageous add-ons... Which really very different on working with real life...

One example is the Cyber-Classroom LAN-based thesis using PHP... Wherein after finishing the final system, I'm amazed of the level of difficulty of the system... I can't believe I was paid with the small amount...

Also there are other systems that I've finished and after making all those programs, I'm pretty glad where my career is heading right now...

As of now, I'm on a new venture... Slowly and slowly, I'm getting closer to my dreams....
